We had lots of fun acting out the story of 'The Enormous Turnip,' we then made and tasted our own vegetable soup -it was yummy! We've also been spending lots of time enjoying the sunshine outdoors . . . 

We've had lots of fun over the last few weeks in Preschool. We loved meeting Bonnie's lamb -thank you Bonnie! We had lots of fun Celebrating the Coronation. We've been enjoying the sunshine in our Outdoor Area, we've been learning all about frogs and have enjoyed planting our own seeds.

We had lots of fun playing with our friends in Year R this week . . .

We've had lots of fun celebrating Easter in Preschool this week. We hunted for eggs in lots of different ways, made our own chocolate nests and went down to school to meet Year R's chicks. We finished the week with an 'Easter Party' with our grown ups.

We enjoyed a visit from 'Dartmoor Rescue' this week. They showed the children their Landrover and lots of interesting equipment. We then used maps in Preschool to plan our own rescue missions. We also learnt about the Coastguard, made our own rescue boats and mixed red and yellow paint so we could paint our Lifeboats orange.

Last week in Preschool we enjoyed a visit from Police Officer Matt as part of our 'People Who Help Us' topic. We turned into detectives for the day on Friday and solved the mystery of the missing number 3's. We followed clues to find a naughty Scarecrow had taken them and hidden them in the Forest School! We also had lots of fun playing in our own Police Station in the role play area.

We've had lots of fun in Preschool this week looking after patients in our very busy Hospital, learning about the importance of brushing our teeth and celebrating World Book Day. The children all looked amazing in their costumes and enjoyed a visit from Year 3 who came and read lots of stories to us.

The children all enjoyed meeting each other's pets in Preschool. Dougie brought in his Giant Snails and told us all about them, everyone enjoyed taking Bonnie's dog for a walk and it was lots of fun meeting and stroking Emmy, Saskia and Tommy's dogs. Thank you to all of the grown ups who brought in pets for us to meet -we had lots of fun!

We had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year in Preschool last week. We made our own dragon and joined in with a Dragon Dance, we had lots of opportunities to practice our scissor skills as we made lanterns, mini-dragons and paper dolls and we especially enjoyed making and eating our own Stir Fry.

We had lots of fun re-telling the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' in lots of different ways. We also enjoyed making our own bears.
