Year Two enjoyed a fantastic visit from the Bookery, Crediton on Wednesday. Kathie and Jennie shared extracts from some of their favourite books and then the children had the opportunity to explore the books and purchase them if they wished. As a School we have also purchased the Bookery’s top 20 titles for the children to read in school. 

Year Two had a fantastic day at the Devon County Show. The children were all wonderful and a great time was had by all! 

Thank you so much to all of the parents and staff that helped with the visit, without whom the trip wouldn’t have been possible. 

The children saw so much and  got to try so many new things: rock climbing, pastie making, rope making, CPR, butter making, flour making and so much more!

We enjoyed learning about keeping safe at the beach with Amie and Tamsen from the RNLI. 

Year Two have been enjoying their topic of Ancient Egypt. 

Year Two enjoyed exploring the school grounds looking for habitats and micro habitats. 

Year Two enjoyed a great cricket session with Niall and Martin on Monday focusing on our bowling. 

On Wednesday, Year Two enjoyed a visit from members of the Dartmoor Rescue. They enjoyed hearing all about their work and exploring their equipment. 

In DT, The children have started making their models of modes of transport.
